Reports state that the DRC army has stopped the attempt of the rebels who had already approached the city of Sake, about 27 kilometers from Goma, in the east of the country. Local sources have explained that seven people have died in the city after a bomb fell on a residential area. The citizens who remained in the town said that the situation has been calm since yesterday morning and that activities returned to normal from yesterday (Thursday) morning. At the same time, a new wave of refugees has emerged in the Democratic Republic of Congo after new clashes broke out between the country's army and the M23 rebel group.
