The First Time, Russia-Syria Hold Maneuvers at Night
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the holding of joint military maneuvers at night by Russian and Syrian troops, in the province of Hama. Quoted by Russia Today, Thursday (3/8/2023) The Russian Ministry of Defense released a video showing the country's first military exercises with Syria, at night. According to information from the Russian Ministry of Defence, this joint military maneuver involved the combined forces of the two countries practicing destroying and destroying terrorist concentration centers. This joint military maneuver also involved Sukhoi, Su-24 and Su-35 fighter jets, Ka-52 helicopters, and Syrian artillery troops. In this maneuver, Syrian troops, deployed using Mi-8AMTSh helicopters, from an altitude of 1,500 to 3,000 meters, Russia as one of Syria's key allies, sent troops to Syria, at the official request of the Damascus government, to help fight terrorist groups.
