The health of Palestinian prisoner Fatima Shahin has deteriorated
The health of injured Palestinian prisoner Fatima Shahin has deteriorated due to Israel's medical malpractice policy, Asra Media Office reported.
In a press release released on Monday, quoted by Infopal, the office stressed that prisoner Shahin was wounded in the back and stomach by three Israeli bullets, one of which penetrated her spine and paralyzed her.
The office stressed that Shahin is currently being held in solitary confinement in Ramleh Jail despite her serious health condition.Shahin, from the West Bank city of Bethlehem, is 20 years old. She is married and mother of three children.
Last April, the Israeli occupation forces arrested Shahin after wounding her near the Arrub refugee camp, north of al-Khalil/Hebron.About 4,780 Palestinian citizens, including 32 women, 170 minors and 1,000 administrative detainees are being held in Israeli prisons.
