The international community condemns Israel's terrorist attack on the Iranian consulate building in Damascus

Various countries of the world have condemned the Zionist regime's attack on the consular section of the Iranian embassy in Damascus, which led to the martyrdom of several Iranian military advisers.

According to Syrian news agency, the foreign ministries of Venezuela, Cuba, Pakistan, Iraq, Qatar, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Kuwait considered this terrorist attack a violation of Syria's sovereignty and a violation of stability and security. They emphasized that the attack in question is in clear violation of international laws and diplomatic standards. These countries noted that the attack on the headquarters of diplomatic missions is considered a crime.

Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs also strongly condemned the Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate building in Damascus and urged Israel to stop its unacceptable actions in the region. Russia's Ministry of Defense also announced: An attack on the embassy is an attack on Iranian soil, and an attack on the Iranian embassy is very dangerous and could lead to a wide war in the region. Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also in a statement, condemned the attack on the Iranian consulate building in Damascus, the capital of Syria. This ministry announced: "Riyadh opposes the attack with any pretext and any justification against diplomatic centers, which is a violation of international treaties and the principle of diplomatic immunity."

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the National Salvation Government of Yemen also emphasized: The Zionist regime's terrorist attack on Damascus is a clear violation of international laws and a violation of the sovereignty of the two brotherly countries of Iran and Syria, and these actions show the bankruptcy and confusion of the Zionists because of his scandalous defeat in Gaza. The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) also issued a statement condemning the Zionist regime's terrorist attack on the consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus and considered it a flagrant violation of international law and a violation of the sovereignty of Iran and Syria. Also, former Bolivian president Evo Morales said that Israel is a terrorist state that has no respect for international law.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan strongly condemned the terrorist attack by the Zionist regime on the consular section of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus and said that this irresponsible action of the Israeli forces will lead to a great tension in the region. This Tuesday morning, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Jordan issued a statement saying that the attack on the consulate building of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus is a violation of international treaties, especially the Vienna Convention and the principle of diplomatic immunity. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman condemned the Zionist regime's terrorist attack on the consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus and considered it a violation of Syria's sovereignty and all laws protecting diplomatic missions. 

In a statement,Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Zionist regime's attack on the consular building of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Syria, calling it a violation of international treaties and diplomatic norms. Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also condemned the attack on diplomatic and consular missions and condemned violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

Russia, China and several countries in the region have strongly condemned the Israeli attack that targeted the Iranian consulate in Syria, warning of possible consequences for the West Asian region.

"We are deeply shocked and outraged by the Israeli attack on the consular building of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus that caused casualties and destroyed the building," the Russian embassy in Tehran said in a statement.

The statement stressed that the attack constitutes a flagrant violation of all the bases of international law, including the Vienna Convention that guarantees the security of diplomatic and consular facilities, warning that this action could fuel tensions in the region.

The Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that "such aggressive actions by Israel are absolutely unacceptable and must be stopped."

"We call on the Israeli leadership to abandon the practice of provocative military actions on the territory of Syria and other neighboring countries," the statement added.

China also condemned the attack, with Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin stressing: "The security of diplomatic institutions cannot be compromised and the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Syria must be respected."

Meanwhile, Pakistan also strongly condemned the Israeli attack as an "irresponsible act", calling it "a major escalation in an already volatile region".

"The attack is an unacceptable violation of Syria's sovereignty and undermines its stability and security. It is a violation of international law and the UN Charter. Attacks against diplomats or diplomatic facilities are also illegal under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations," Pakistan's foreign ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia expressed on Tuesday "the categorical rejection of the Saudi Kingdom for targeting diplomatic facilities for any justification and under any pretext, because this action is a violation of international diplomatic laws and the rules of diplomatic immunity."

Iraq, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Qatar as well as resistance movements also denounced the Israeli attack that killed seven military advisers to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
