The military operation in Rafah will be opposed by Washington

The US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, has told the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, that a possible military operation in Rafah, which is located in the south of Gaza, will be opposed by Washington and will have a negative impact on the relations between the States of United States of America and Israel.

The Axios website reported earlier, citing two Zionist regime officials, that US President Joe Biden's administration delayed last week the delivery of a shipment of US-made munitions to the Zionist regime.

The authorities of the Zionist regime have expressed to the Axios network that this issue has caused serious concern among Israeli officials and has made them try to find out the reason for the obstruction of the shipment.

According to this report, the White House has refused to comment on this issue, and the US Department of Defense (Pentagon), the US State Department and the Israeli Prime Minister's Office have not responded to questions about this issue.

The report notes that Joe Biden is facing strong criticism among Americans who oppose his support for the Israeli regime. Meanwhile, the Biden administration asked Israel in February to guarantee that its forces in Gaza will use US-made weapons in accordance with international law.

On the other hand, more than 50 Democratic representatives of the American Congress have recently warned in a letter addressed to the president of this country about the continuation of Washington's support with arms for Tel Aviv on the eve of the occupation regime's military operation in Rafah.

Referring to the American student protests against the war in Gaza and the new $26 billion in aid to the Israeli regime, which was approved by the US Congress, the website "Hill" recently wrote: "The US president signed this law amid a worsening crisis humanitarian aid in Gaza and the expected Israeli attack on the city of Rafah, where more than a million Palestinian civilians have taken refuge."

Last week, Biden signed into law $95 billion in aid to Ukraine, the Israeli regime and Taiwan and the delivery of weapons and military equipment to Tel Aviv and Kiev, claiming the law would make the world safer.

Support for the people of Gaza and protests against the policies of the Biden government, this time started from different groups of students at American universities.

Since the start of protests against Israel's war in Gaza under the slogan "Gaza Solidarity Movement", protests that started at Columbia University in New York and spread to other American universities, more than 1,000 students have been arrested.
