The Start Observatory Tower overlooking Gaza has become a place for Israeli students to conduct scientific study tours, and the aim is to witness the genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. Matthew Hoh, a former American diplomat recently visited a spot near the Start Observatory tower, and shared his experience of the view.
“What is ugly and shameful is that this place has become an arena for Israeli students to witness the conditions in Gaza,” said Matthew Ho, shocked to see Israeli students being invited to see the genocide in Gaza according to the curriculum.
"They went to the observation deck at the Start Observatory Tower, just like the one they built to watch Niagara Falls in Canada, but on this deck they witnessed the genocide against the children of Gaza," he said.
The American diplomat added, "I still can't find the words to describe what I saw. While we were there, a group of Israeli students arrived for a field trip. These kids had come for two hours to see the genocide in Gaza. They were pumping their fists and were so excited when they saw Gaza and the genocide that was going on."
The American diplomat went on to say, “Seeing the killing of Palestinians is a painful experience. You hate yourself, but at the same time you are so far away, you don’t hear the screams, you don’t hear the children crying. For Israel, everything there is so spectacular and like watching a movie. When Israelis see it as entertainment, humanity is denied. Watching the mass killing of Palestinians is part of the curriculum in Israeli schools.”
Israel is working hard to militarize its schools. In Israeli schools, two or three lessons a week are devoted to information and security education. According to the investigation, the Zionist regime does not stop imposing its security opinions, even on children. This regime teaches students to use weapons since elementary school.
