According to Turkish Bianet, the Turkish state-owned construction company TOKI has invaded the territory of Turkey's only Armenian village (Vagif) as part of a housing development project and included almost half of it in its project.

The head of the village of Vagif, Perç Kartun, announced that they will meet with the governor of Hatay and raise the issue, since if TOKPİ takes over the areas planned for the project, the only Armenian village in Turkey will be destroyed.

The Armenian head of the village emphasized that the Armenian population of the village is very depressed and is waiting for the cancellation of this project.

It should be noted that the village of Vagif is located in Cilicia Armenia, on the slopes of Mount Musa. It is considered the only Armenian village in Turkey with an Armenian mayor and an exclusively Armenian population.
