Ukraine: We sank the Russian submarine in the Black Sea
The Ukrainian military announced on Saturday that it had sunk the Rostov-on-Don submarine and the Russian S-400 anti-aircraft system in the Crimean peninsula in a missile attack. According to the Reuters news agency, the Ukrainian military announced that it successfully targeted and sank the Russian submarine "Rostov-on-Don" in the port of Sevastopol, in Crimea.
The Ukrainian military also said: "Friday's attack damaged the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system on the illegally occupied Crimean peninsula."
On the other hand, the Ministry of Defense of Russia confirmed through a communique that the war submarine "Rostov-on-Don" of this country went to the bottom of the Black Sea due to the attack of the Ukrainian army on the port of Sevastopol.
Ukraine has repeatedly attacked Russian ships since the large-scale attacks began and, according to the Ukrainian military, about 30 percent of Russia's Black Sea fleet has been destroyed or disabled.
Ukraine's successful offensives in Crimea forced Moscow to withdraw most of its naval forces from the peninsula to the Russian port city of Novorossiysk, which has become a key port for Russia's Black Sea fleet.
The Ukrainian military also announced that it had attacked an airport in southern Russia, as well as oil depots and fuel storage facilities in the Belgorod, Kursk and Rostov regions.
