Ukrainian Foreign Minister: We will have a difficult autumn
Ukraine's foreign minister said the country is likely to enter into negotiations with Russia, and will face a difficult political season. Dmytro Kuleba, Sunday (13/8/2023) said, this country is likely to enter into negotiations with Russia, and at the same time move towards a very difficult political season. But Kuleba promised to do whatever it takes to survive the various pressures that are forcing Ukraine, opting for the diplomatic option in dealing with the current crisis. He added, "I warn everyone, a very difficult political season is coming. The voices for negotiations are getting louder and louder. We will do everything within the framework of international and criminal law, until we are sure that these voices are gone."
Until now the Ukrainian government has always rejected the possibility of dialogue with Russia, and last fall President Volodymyr Zelensky even proposed a law outright prohibiting such a step. On the other hand, the Russian government, said it is ready to carry out meaningful negotiations with Ukraine, to resolve the crisis that has been going on for 1.5 years. One of the Russian senators, responding to the statement of the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, according to him, Kiev officials, in general, are actually worried that Western aid will run out for them.
