UN Spokesman: There are no schools left in the Gaza Strip

The spokesperson of the United Nations has said that if it is the beginning of the academic year in the Gaza Strip, more than 600,000 young people have been denied the opportunity to get formal education for another year, and that there are no schools available in that zone.

Clarifying the issue, Stephan Dujarric, the Spokesman of the Secretary General of the United Nations has said that many of the 200 schools run by the organization in the Gaza Strip have become homes for Palestinian refugees.

He said that the polio vaccine program in the Gaza Strip continues under the supervision of the United Nations.

The United Nations spokesman added that the stopping of United Nations vehicles by the Zionist regime's soldiers in the Gaza Strip is also being further investigated.

The army of the brutal Israeli regime, which continues the genocide in Gaza, on Monday 9 September, stopped a convoy of UN vehicles in the northern Gaza Strip, claiming that some "Palestinian suspects" were in the convoy.

Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations has said that he has never seen such a level of killing and destruction and added that the United Nations has proposed to manage any ceasefire that will be reached in the Gaza Strip.
