UNICEF spokesperson: Gaza's war is against children

UNICEF issued a statement on Monday morning stating that the situation of Palestinian children in Gaza is dire and the war is a war against children. "Al Jazeera" reports that UNICEF spokesman James Elde said: "Compared to any conflict in the history of the United Nations, the largest number of my colleagues have died during the Gaza war."

He noted: "Israel is at war against the children of Gaza. The scenes I saw in the hospitals during my visit to the Gaza Strip are horrific. In addition to bombing various regions of Palestine, the Israeli army also targeted the area around Kafr Shoba in the south of Lebanon on Tuesday morning.
