US Media: Biden pushes Kiev to step up warfare against Moscow

“We will continue to try to convince them (Ukraine's leadership) that we cannot do something forever,” the newspaper reported, quoting one of the officials. Therefore, Biden and his advisers believe that it will become more difficult to support Ukraine when it runs out of the current aid package and that could happen this summer. According to officials, Kiev is spending significant resources to protect Artemovsk (Bakhmut). According to them, Volodymyr Zelensky attaches symbolic importance to the city and believes that its loss will hit the morale of Ukrainians.

Biden's aides say they are pursuing the best course of action: allow Ukraine to take back as much territory as possible in the coming months before it takes its seat at the negotiating table. In light of the Russian special operation, the United States and NATO allies are supporting the Kiev regime with military aid deliveries, the cost of support programs is tens of billions of dollars. Moscow, for its part, has repeatedly stated that the supply of weapons only prolongs the conflict and the transport of weapons becomes a legitimate goal for the Russian military.
