Washington has said that 1,800 MK-84 bombs stored in the United States will be transported and delivered to the Zionist regime of Israel in the next few days.

The White House has ordered the Pentagon to lift a ban on the delivery of the 2,000-pound bombs to Israel, according to three Israeli officials speaking to Axios.

President Joe Biden's decision to halt the shipment of the bombs in May last year sparked a major crisis in US-Israeli relations, during the war on Gaza that lasted more than 15 months.

Further reports say that the Pentagon informed the Tel Aviv government about the lifting of the ban on Friday.

The Biden administration claimed that it was concerned that Israel's use of MK-84 bombs against densely populated Gaza would result in large civilian casualties.

The Prime Minister of the brutal Israeli regime, Benjamin Netanyahu, and his supporters in Israel and the United States used Biden's decision to claim, incorrectly, that the United States had imposed an arms embargo on Israel.

The German weekly magazine, Der Spiegel, has written in its report that the country's government has approved the sale of a large amount of weapons worth more than 30 million euros to the Israeli regime in the past few weeks.

The German government initially approved the shipment of weapons worth 160 million euros to the Israeli Zionist regime despite international concerns about the regime's human rights violations, particularly the genocide of the people of Gaza.

According to Spiegel, Germany will send spare parts for Israeli Merkava tanks to the occupied territories, which will be handed over to the regime this summer.

Christiane Hoffmann, deputy spokeswoman for the German government, told reporters that the decision to send German weapons to the occupied Palestinian territories (Israel) has always existed, but there is no decision to impose a general arms embargo on Israel.

Earlier, Reuters reported that German human rights lawyers had asked a Berlin court to halt the government's decision to deliver 3,000 anti-tank weapons to the Israeli regime.

According to recent reports, more than 45,000 Palestinians have been martyred and more than 107,000 others have been injured in the attacks of the Zionist Israeli regime in Gaza.
