One person was killed and at least eight were injured as a result of a Zionist drone attack on the Kalso military base in the north of Babil province (50 km south of Baghdad).

Kalso Base is a joint base of the Iraqi army, federal police and al-Hashd al-Shaabi forces.
 
The head of the security committee of the Iraqi province of Babil said: “Due to drone attacks on the al-Hashd al-Shaabi militia base, 5 explosions occurred, and at least 8 people were injured in the explosion at the Kalso base.”
 
He also said that the Al-Hashd al-Shaabi headquarters at the Kalso base came under missile fire and the news about the drone attack was not true.
 
Meanwhile, US Central Command (CENTCOM) denied reports of the country's air attack on a military base in Iraq's Babil province on Saturday morning.
 
In this regard, Abu Ala al-Walai, Secretary General of the Seyed al-Shahod Brigades of Iraq, in response to the incident at the Kalso Al-Hashd al-Shaabi military base, stated: “We will respond to anyone involved in the attack on the Al-Hashd al-Shaabi base. Hashd al-Shaabi."
 

Iraq's Islamic Resistance announced at dawn on Saturday that it had struck a vital Israeli base in Eilat following explosions that rocked Iraq's Babil province following an airstrike on the headquarters of al-Hashd al-Shaabi forces at the Kalso military base.

 
The Islamic Resistance of Iraq said in a statement: "The Mujahideen struck a vital target in Eilat in the occupied territories in support of the people of Gaza and in response to the killing of defenseless Palestinian civilians and the violation of Iraqi sovereignty by the Zionist enemy."
