42 Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks on refugee camps in 2023
Israel has escalated its atrocities in the occupied West Bank and al-Quds, killing 42 Palestinians in its raids on Palestinian refugee camps since earlier this year, a new AAA report reveals. The Aqabat Jaber camp, located near the city of Jericho in the eastern part of the occupied West Bank, has been the target of 307 Israeli raids, the highest number compared to other Palestinian camps. Regime forces arrested 335 Palestinians in their attacks that left 42 people dead and 373 injured, the report added, carried by the Palestinian Information Center.
It has also recorded 1,561 Israeli crimes against residents of Palestinian refugee camps in the West Bank and al-Quds so far in 2023. Occupation forces, the report said, have raided 277 Palestinian homes, illegally possessed two homes and destroyed 17 properties. The Israeli army carries out deadly raids on various Palestinian towns across the occupied West Bank on an almost daily basis under the guise of detaining what it calls "wanted" Palestinians. Violent near-night attacks spark heavy clashes with local Palestinians. Recently, the Tel Aviv regime conducted a two-day ground and air offensive against the West Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp. At least 12 Palestinians were killed and another 140 injured in the attack. Over 200 Palestinians killed by Israel since early 2023: data center
