Türkiye admits it will cut ties with Israel
The Turkish Foreign Minister said that efforts to normalize relations with the Zionist Regime, which were initiated before the war broke out in the region, can now no longer be continued. Hakan Fidan, Sunday (19/11/2023) said, "We have discussed the issue of cutting ties with Israel, and there are no restrictions whatsoever in the steps we take." According to the Turkish Foreign Minister, efforts to normalize relations with the Zionist Regime, after the outbreak of war in the region, can no longer be continued. "The decision to sever ties with Israel must be made collectively by several countries, so that it can be strong," he added. At the same time, Hakan Fidan emphasized that Turkey does not agree with the position of the United States, which totally supports Israel, and rejects the ceasefire. He explained, "I spoke openly to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, that we urge a permanent ceasefire, and we reject the policy of expelling the people of Gaza." Fidan explained that Muslim countries currently prefer to resolve the Gaza problem using all the diplomatic and humanitarian instruments they have. "The continued possession of nuclear weapons by Israel will exacerbate the atomic arms race, and this is not an ideal condition for the region and the world," he concluded.
