A new report by a human rights advocacy group reveals that Israeli forces have arrested as many as 570 Palestinian minors since the beginning of 2023. The director of the Palestinian Center for Prisoner Studies (PCPS), Riyad al-Ashqar, offered the information in a speech Sunday carried by the Palestinian Information Center. The figure shows a 15 percent increase over the same period last year, he noted, saying 435 young Palestinians detained by Israeli forces came from the occupied city of al-Quds. The detainees included 29 children under the age of 12, al-Ashqar said, adding that two of them are only 10 years old.
