The head of the US House Intelligence Committee warned of the consequences of Washington's intervention in any possible military action against Iran.
According to the Washington Times, Republican House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Turner of Ohio acknowledged that if the US government does not understand that it is facing an "escalation of conflicts," it will enter into a broader conflict that reduces his right to choose.
Turner stressed that Washington should avoid any interference in possible military action against Iran at this time. Meanwhile, a US official said that "America must define red lines for Iran that will protect the Israeli regime," saying America's failure in this area has consequences that will make the situation even more dangerous.
Turner said that because of the possible escalation of tensions in West Asia, allies such as Ukraine and the Israeli regime need US support.
