Military helicopter made a forced landing in Izmir

Turkish Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced that a helicopter taking off from Çiğli 2nd Main Jet Base Command in Izmir made an emergency landing due to technical malfunction, and one personnel was slightly injured in the incident.

In the statement made by the Ministry, it was stated that the helicopter had to make an emergency landing due to a technical malfunction and was damaged.

It was stated in the statement that a personnel who was slightly injured in the incident was sent to the hospital and his treatment was started, and that an investigation into the incident was initiated.

In the written statement made by the Governorship, it was stated that the military helicopter operating for training purposes under the Çiğli 2nd Main Jet Base Command made an emergency hard landing on the borders of Bademler District of Urla district.

The statement said, "Of the 3 crew members on the helicopter, 1 personnel was injured and 2 personnel survived the incident without any injuries. All personnel were transported from the scene without any problems."
