Damascus: Colonial mentality still dominates the minds of Western politicians

Criticizing the colonial mentality and expansionism of Western countries towards other countries, the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the political situation in the West is catastrophic and is accompanied by immoral contradictions and a break from reality.

At its last meeting, the European Union made allegations against the Syrian government, while ignoring the role of the West and America in providing continuous support to the ISIS terrorist organization.

While Damascus condemned the European Union's claims, it described this action as "open interference in internal affairs" and announced that the European Union's decision was full of racist ideas.

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the colonialist and expansionist mentality is still dominant in the minds of many politicians in the West, and stated that making such claims points to the dire political situation the West is in, immoral contradictions and a break with reality.
