Al-Quds, over 3,000 settlers invaded Al-Aqsa in June
3,787 settlers invaded and held prayers in the al-Aqsa Mosque complex in June 2023. The Zionist occupation has stepped up its plans to Judaize the al-Aqsa Mosque, speeding up excavations and allowing settlers in.
Over the past month, Israeli lawmaker Amit Halevi has proposed a plan to divide the al-Aqsa mosque between Jews and Muslims, in which he suggested giving about 30 percent of the southern section of the complex to Muslims, while the rest would have been reserved for Jews, including the area where the Dome of the Rock is located.
The settlers also tried to bring lambs to be sacrificed at the holy site and recited prayers. During the same period, Israeli police raided the Bab al-Rahma chapel and continued excavations under the al-Aqsa mosque.
