Approval of four anti-Zionist regime resolutions at the UN Human Rights Council
Simultaneously with International Quds Day, four resolutions in favor of Palestine and against the Zionist regime were adopted by an overwhelming majority at the United Nations Human Rights Council.
According to the news provided by our correspondent, yesterday, at the hearing of human rights decisions at the 55th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland, the decree on the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination received 42 positive votes out of a total of 47 votes of the Human Rights Council. It was accepted by vote.
Only America and Paraguay voted against this decision, announcing to the world that they were against the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to self-determination.
At this meeting, a decree condemning the Zionist regime's construction of settlements in the occupied Palestinian lands was adopted with 36 positive votes.
This time, the USA, along with Paraguay and Malawi, voted against this decision and supported the occupying regime of Jerusalem.
At the said meeting, the third decision titled Human rights and obligations of accountability and justice in the occupied Palestinian territories, including Jerusalem, was approved by the UN Human Rights Council with 28 positive votes.
America, Germany, Argentina, Malawi, Bulgaria and Paraguay voted against this resolution and, unlike other members of the Human Rights Council, sided with the Zionist regime.
Meanwhile, the United Nations Human Rights Council yesterday approved the draft resolution submitted by Pakistan to stop sending arms to the Zionist regime, with 28 votes in favour, against 6 votes against and 13 abstentions.
