Archbishop Hanna: Israel's oppression of Christians has increased due to the silence of the West
Atallah Hanna, the Archbishop of the Orthodox Christians in the occupied Holy Quds (Jerusalem), has said that the Christians of Quds are in more danger than before. Atallah Hanna, the Archbishop of the Orthodox Christians in Quds, said that attacks against Christians in the city have been going on for a long time, but now they have intensified in the shadow of the silence of the West after Netanyahu's fascist cabinet came to power.
Speaking about the sabotage carried out by the Zionist settlers against Christians in the ancient area of Quds (Jerusalem), Bishop Atallah Hanna added that the sabotage and crimes of the Zionist administration are aimed at all classes and groups of the Palestinian nation. He said, the Zionists are showing their hatred against Christians with these actions and that the Christians of Quds (Jerusalem) which is occupied by force are now more targeted by the brutal regime than ever before.
Bishop Hanna added that: Christians are among the original inhabitants of Palestine and are not strangers in the area, and anyone who targets Christians is targeting all Palestinians with their emblems and holy places. Atallah Hanna, the high-level Christian leader said: "Due to the crimes committed by the Zionist regime of Israel, the number of Christians is decreasing significantly; therefore, there is a need to be united and correct our internal situation, because this we cannot end the apartheid of Israel."
