Attacks on international aid providers, proof of Israel's use of hunger as a dirty weapon

In a crime that was condemned and continues to be condemned to this day in the world, the Zionist regime killed seven citizens of different Western countries to prevent food from reaching the citizens of the Gaza Strip who are suffering from the great siege imposed by Israel.

All international laws protect the workers of humanitarian aid organizations, but the Zionist regime does not care about that due to the violence and great pride given to it by the Western powers, especially the United States, England, France and Germany. A few days ago, a convoy of three humanitarian aid vehicles was brutally attacked by the soldiers of the Zionist regime when it was crossing the northern Gaza area to return to the southern city of Rafah.

The declaration issued by the World Food Organization (WCK) has said that the employees of the organization who were killed in the brutal attack by Israel in Gaza are citizens of the United Kingdom, Australia, Poland, Canada, the United States and Palestine.

The organization, whose headquarters are in the United States, began its activities by distributing food aid to the victims of the great earthquake in Haiti in 2010. After that, it broadened its scope of work and currently provides aid to all areas of the world that are affected by natural disasters, refugees, and people affected by war. The motto of the humanitarian aid organization is "Send the kitchen to the hungry people."

In addition to distributing food, the organization provides other emergency aid including educational aid to restore the hope of living to the victims of these events.

Among the places where the organization has done its work well are during the hurricanes Harvey and Maria that hit the United States in 2017, the Madagascar hurricane in 2022, the great earthquake in Morocco in 2023 and another great earthquake that occurred in the Suzu area of the north and northwest of Japan at the beginning of January this year 2024.

After the Zionist administration started border crossing crimes against the people of Gaza on October 7, 2023, the World Food Organization (WCK) decided to go to the strip to provide humanitarian aid to the victims of these Israeli crimes.

Initially, the organization's aid was sent to Gaza by trucks and also by airdrops until the sea route through Cyprus was opened; and the organization decided to use that route to deliver food to the people of Gaza.

This is to say that, on the 12th of last March, 2024, the head chef of the WCK organization, José Andrés Pérez, boarded a humanitarian aid vessel in the island of Cyprus with more than 200 tons of food to deliver to the people of Gaza.

The non-governmental organization did not have even a single weapon when it was delivering the food, but despite that, its convoy was attacked by the Zionist regime and stopped from its work.

But the organization's employees who were brutally and intentionally killed by Israeli terrorist soldiers in Gaza were among those who succeeded in delivering 332 tons of food to the people of Gaza in the second expedition of the international humanitarian aid organization.

Various international circles and organizations until now continue to condemn the Zionist regime for its crimes and for using dirty weapons to starve the innocent people of the Gaza Strip.

Even Josep Borrell, the head of foreign policy of the European Union, has condemned the crime and called for an independent and thorough investigation to be carried out on the perpetrators of the atrocity.
