Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev boasted about the introduction of the Turkish army model

 "An important direction of our cooperation is cooperation in the military sphere. Our armies mean one fist," said Ilham Aliyev after the talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. "The second Karabakh war and the anti-terrorist measures implemented by us five months ago showed once again that the model of the Turkish army in Azerbaijan was fully established," he said, referring to the occupation of Nagorno Karabakh and the total deportation of the Armenian population. Considering that Turkey is the second largest country in NATO, Aliyev's words mean a hint of the union helping Baku's adventures. "Today, of course, new opportunities have opened up in the field of defense. There have been detailed discussions on this topic. We have plans for joint production," said Aliyev.
