Belgium: European countries should stop exporting weapons to Israel
The Belgian cabinet minister announced that European countries should stop exporting weapons to Israel and provide humanitarian aid to Gaza.
According to the report of the website Middle East Monitor, Caroline Gans, the Minister of Cooperation and Development of Belgium has asked the European countries to stop the export of weapons to the Zionist regime. This Belgian official emphasized the need to increase humanitarian aid for Gaza and asked the European Commission to resume UNRWA's commitments and payments.
She stressed: "I think it is time to stop the export of arms to the Middle East, Israel and warring countries. The ground attack of the Israeli army in Rafah should be a red line."
Expressing deep concern about the humanitarian situation in Gaza, Gans said: "There is a need to send humanitarian aid unhindered on a permanent basis, but the Rafah and Karam Abu Salem border crossings are closed, the humanitarian disaster is growing and threatening millions with starvation people."
On Tuesday morning, the occupation army of the Zionist regime announced that it has taken "operational control" over the Palestinian crossing of Rafah, which connects the Gaza Strip with Egypt.
