Biden will make an official visit to Poland

WASHINGTON-The President of the United States, Joe Biden, will pay an official visit to Poland from February 20 to 22. This was confirmed by White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre during a press briefing quoted by the Nova agency. The US president will meet his counterpart, Andrzej Duda, with whom he will discuss the future of bilateral cooperation and the joint effort to support Ukraine, in the context of the war with Russia. Particular attention will also be devoted to the need to strengthen NATO's capabilities in the field of deterrence. In this regard, the US president will also meet the leaders of the Bucharest 9 (B9) format, in which the states of NATO's eastern flank participate, in which he will reaffirm Washington's determination to support the security of the alliance. Biden will give a speech on the anniversary of the outbreak of war in Ukraine.
