According to the Reuters news agency, one of the officials of the US State Department said: "During his two-day visit to Kyiv, Blinken may announce that the US will send new military aid to Ukraine worth more than 1 billion dollars." The UN criticized the US decision to send low-enriched uranium munitions to Ukraine. "The UN is always concerned about the use of low-enriched uranium ammunition anywhere in the world," Farhan Haq, deputy press representative of the UN Secretary General, said at a briefing. In his article, the correspondent of the US ABC News TV channel criticized the shipment of weapons to Ukraine and said:

"The use of such weapons is always controversial. Because it poses a huge threat to people's health. Its impact will remain in the environment for many years." According to the US media, to date, the US has sent weapons worth $43 billion to Ukraine. Recently, it intends to allocate another 1 billion dollars for military aid.
