Brexit, the British now have more faith in the EU than in Westminster

Almost seven years after the Brexit referendum, the British have (much) more faith in the EU than in Parliament in Westminster or in the government in charge in London. This was revealed by a survey by the World Values Survey which indicates how positive sentiment towards of Brussels' institutions across the Channel is growing in recent years, unlike that towards the British executive (today led by Rishi Sunak) and the "cradle of modern democracy" (as the British call it), whose approval ratings appear to be significant decline since 2018.
