Britain has decided to combat the absence of pro-Palestinian students in classes

The United Kingdom's Education Secretary has spoken out about efforts to combat the absence of pro-Palestinian students from classes. Gillian Keegan said on Friday that some students in the country were staying out of school to participate in pro-Gaza demonstrations, RT news agency reported. Keegan stressed that schools must take this wave of absenteeism "seriously". Thousands of students at different levels from North to South and from East to West Britain skipped classes and took to the streets on Friday to protest against the massacre of Gazans by the Zionist regime and in solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine and with the slogan "Free Palestine". According to EuroNews, London students, carrying a Palestinian flag, held posters with slogans condemning genocide and calling for an end to the crimes of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip.

In the Luton area, students at the Luton Sixth Form College campus have denounced the institution's relationship with a company that produces spare parts for the Zionist regime's weapons. Newham County students also sat in front of the town hall and chanted the slogan "Free Palestine". Students also gathered on the University of Glasgow campus and waved the Palestinian flag and shouted slogans declaring solidarity with the people of Palestine. Young people in these protest movements, while supporting an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, stress that British political party leaders do not represent their views on Israel's genocide of Palestinians. The demonstrations came as Britain supported massive Israeli attacks in Gaza that resulted in the martyrdom of thousands of civilians, saying Israel had the right to “defend itself.”
