the head of the burns department of the Al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip emphasized: “Water, electricity and the Internet are turned off in the Al-Shifa medical complex. The food we receive does not reach almost 40% of the people in the hospital. The general condition of the hospital is unsafe, It is impossible to carry out the operation due to lack of electricity." A hospital spokesman said: "Due to a lack of clean water, children in the hospital are suffering from severe intestinal infections. The occupation regime stole several bodies from the medical complex. We lost many intensive care patients who were alive on artificial respiration." The director of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex also said: "We are facing genocide and martyrs are being killed every minute. The situation is very painful, there is nothing but death and corpses, and the Zionist regime is still besieging the hospital. We have a large pharmacy, but the Zionist regime does not allow us to enter there." The director of the al-Shifa medical complex emphasized: “The Zionist army forces move inside the hospital in complete freedom, and this issue rejects any resistance inside the medical complex. The hospital is designed for only 200 people, almost 7,000 people live in the hospital.”

The director of Al Shifa Hospital added: "Premature babies are in danger and we are doing everything possible to keep them alive. We continue to bury the bodies of the martyrs in a grave that was dug on the hospital grounds." On October 7, 2023, Palestinian resistance forces launched a surprise operation called Al-Aqsa Storm from the Gaza Strip (in southern Palestine) against the positions of the occupying Quds Force regime and this regime, in order to take revenge and compensate for its defeat and stop resistance operations, closed all control checkpoints in the Gaza Strip, constantly bombing residential and medical areas of this enclave region. The Zionist regime killed more than 12,000 Gazans, including 5,000 children and 330 women. As a result of the Israeli regime's attacks on the Gaza Strip, 3,640 people are missing, of which 1,770 are children. These attacks also affected 29,800 Palestinians, 70% of whom were women and children. US President Joe Biden strongly supports attacks by the Zionist regime. Despite popular demonstrations in support of Gazans, he said he opposed a ceasefire in the war. Observers say the actions of the usurping Israeli regime, including cutting off electricity, limiting aid to Gaza and carrying out attacks on Palestinian refugees in the Gaza Strip, are examples of war crimes under international law
