The British Intelligence Agency, based on a report by the Iraqi security forces, warned of a possible attack by al-Qaeda and ISIS terrorist groups in Britain.British intelligence informed Daesh and al-Qaeda of terrorist attacks in this country.According to the report, Iraqi security forces recently warned British intelligence agencies that Daesh was planning a massive attack on public gatherings in that country.

Such agitation led British intelligence to focus three-quarters of its activities on countering these threats.Currently, the British Counter-Terrorism Police have about 800 direct investigations in their work schedule, all related to terrorist offences.According to British intelligence, 136 people have been arrested on terrorism-related charges. In addition, over the past six years, 39 terrorist attacks at the preparation stage have been identified and prevented.

The Times newspaper, citing a source in the British government, revealed that this is the first data of its kind in the last 5 years. This data indicates the latest achievements of Britain in the fight against such threats. The announcement came at a time when Robert F. Kennedy, the nephew of assassinated former US President John F. Kennedy, recently stated: "We created ISIS. We sent 2 million refugees to Europe and destabilized democracy there."
