British lawyers demand London stop exporting arms to Israel
More than 600 judges, lawyers and law professors at British universities, including Brenda Hale, the former chief justice of the UK Supreme Court, have asked the UK Prime Minister to stop the Israeli regime's genocide in the Gaza Strip by ending arms exports to the Israeli regime.

Judges and legal experts recently wrote in a letter to the London government that exporting weapons to Israel that kill Palestinians is a violation of international law.
In their letter to the British government, these British lawyers called the situation in Gaza catastrophic and recalled that, given the decision of the International Criminal Court, since the threat of genocide in Gaza remains, the British government must distance itself from this crime by stopping the export of weapons to Israel.
Despite requests from British citizens and lawyers for the British government to stop exporting bombs and weapons to Israel, the British government has said it will not change its arms export program to Israel.
The 17-page letter says the British government is in breach of its international obligations by continuing to send weapons to Israel and by cutting aid to the Palestine Refugee Agency (UNRWA).
At the same time, more than 250 human rights organizations and institutions from around the world, in a letter emphasizing the establishment of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, said: “The Security Council must fulfill its responsibility to establish peace and security in the world through measures related to stopping the transfer of weapons to the Zionist regime."
For over 6 months, Israel has committed all types of war crimes and genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip with the political and military support of the United States and has martyred at least 33,500 Palestinians and injured at least 76,049.
Most of the martyrs and wounded were children, women and old people.
