Chinese and UAE Armed Forces to Hold Joint Exercises
China's Ministry of National Defense issued a statement announcing the first aerial drills between the country and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The website of the Chinese Ministry of National Defense announced Monday (31/7/2023) that the first air drill "Shield Falcon 2023" between China and the UAE will be held in the province of Xinjiang Province in August. China's Ministry of National Defense confirmed that the aim of the first drills between the air forces of the two countries was to enhance cooperation between the armies of China and the UAE. Experts say that with the release of this statement, Washington's alarm will sound, because no country is as close to the UAE as the United States. Since 2012, the UAE has become the world's third largest buyer of American arms. The UAE is also hosting 5,000 American military personnel in Al Dhafra and its warships in Jebel Ali port.(PH)
