Chinese Defense Ministry calls US a global threat
China's Ministry of Defense considers the United States the biggest threat to global peace, stability and security. China's defense ministry, in a statement released Thursday, called the United States the biggest threat to world peace, stability, and security, according to AAA news agency, and added: "Beijing is a supporter of world peace and development, while the United States is using its defense budget, the largest military budget in the world, to fuel war and unrest in different parts of the world." Also, the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that the Chinese Ministry of Defense is ready to expand cooperation with the Russian army in order to strengthen communications and strategic coordination. Mao Ning noted that Beijing is ready to fully implement the agreements of the heads of the two countries, including strengthening coordination and bilateral strategic communications. She added that, in addition to organizing joint military exercises, the two countries plan to conduct joint air and sea patrols. Mao Ning explained that relations between Beijing and Moscow are becoming stronger, but they are not tantamount to a Cold War military-political alliance directed against one bloc or third country. Note that Chinese President Xi Jinping met with his Russian President Vladimir Putin on March 20 in Moscow. At this meeting, the leaders of China and Russia agreed on military cooperation between the two countries.
