Commendation from the Supreme Commander for the actions of Iran's armed forces in recent incidents

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution emphasized: “The armed forces have demonstrated excellent capabilities and upheld the authority and power as well as the image of the Iranian nation and proved the willpower of the Iranian nation in the international arena.”

His Lordship Ayatollah Khamenei, in a meeting with the high command of Iran's armed forces, congratulated the Army Day as well as the anniversary of the establishment of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and said: "The recent achievements of the armed forces have created a sense of glory and grandeur around Islamic Iran in the eyes of the world and global observers."

Praising the need for planning in the operations of the armed forces, he observed, "There are costs and benefits associated with various incidents and it is important to reduce costs and increase benefits through smart planning and this is what the country's armed forces have demonstrated in recent incidents."

Also noting the efforts and activities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the Iranian army and the police, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution recommended that the armed forces continue their efforts and confront the hostile actions of the enemy by relying on innovation and initiative: “We must not stop for a moment, because stopping means turning back, so innovation in weapons and techniques, as well as knowledge of enemy techniques, must always be on the agenda.”

Ayatollah Khamenei stressed that the dignity of the Iranian nation should be visible in the eyes of the whole world, and added: “In identifying talented, capable and creative personnel and resources, conscientiously believe in Almighty God, trust in Him and know that God’s promise to protect believers is unbreakable.”

Following the attack of the genocidal Israeli regime on April 1, 2024 on the consular section of the Iranian Embassy in Damascus, as part of Iranian territory and the martyrdom of seven legal consultants of the country, as well as the lack of a clear reaction from the international community to this illegal action, on the morning of April 14, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps punished the aggressor regime by launching drones and missiles towards the occupied territories.

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Supreme Commander of the Iranian Armed Forces, Ayatollah Khamenei, called Tel Aviv's actions an attack on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran and stressed that the Zionist regime will be “punished.”
