The statement said: “The court ordered public hearings on the legal consequences of Israeli policies and practices in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, including Eastern Quds.” The Palestinian Red Crescent previously called on the international community to take action to prevent another tragedy at the Quds hospital after the Zionist regime threatened to bomb it. EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, repeating the West's hostile position towards the Palestinian resistance front, said that the need for the Zionist regime to comply with international laws is not a slogan, and the besieged population cannot be deprived of water and electricity. Following a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the European Union, Josep Borrell tacitly approved the ongoing attacks of the Zionist regime, saying: “We reiterated that Israel has the right to defend itself, but this right must be exercised in accordance with international law and especially humanitarian law.”

He noted that, according to the European Union, the right to protection “has limits that are explained within the framework of international law, and this means that civilians under siege cannot be cut off from water and electricity.” On Monday, Germany also expressed concern about the dire humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip amid heavy Israeli airstrikes and called it "catastrophic." Also, German Foreign Ministry spokesman Sebastian Fischer said: “Given the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza, the arrival of humanitarian goods, food, medicine, water and fuel in this region is of great importance.” He added: “As we have stated on numerous occasions, we, together with the United Nations, our European Union partners and the United States, are committed to reopening more access to the border areas and sending significant assistance to the Gaza Strip.”

These statements come as Germany has repeatedly supported the Zionist regime's brutal actions against the people of Gaza under the pretext of the right to protection. Meanwhile, the Kremlin also announced a telephone conversation between President Vladimir Putin and his Brazilian counterpart regarding the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. The Kremlin expressed deep concern about the growing number of civilian casualties and emphasized the importance of immediately declaring a ceasefire, evacuating foreign citizens from the Gaza Strip and ensuring unhindered access to humanitarian assistance.
