Demonstrators in Cuba and in other parts of the world have condemned the continued invasion and killing of the brutal Israeli regime against the oppressed Palestinian citizens in the Gaza Strip. Demonstrations for the International Day in Support of the Palestinian People have been held in various cities around the world this Saturday. In Havana, the capital of Cuba, demonstrators gathered in the José Martí Anti-Imperialist building, which is located in front of the US embassy in the Latin American country, in the demonstration to defend the movement to liberate the land of Palestine that is occupied and colonized by Israel's brutal rule. Some of the banners carried by the demonstrators had messages that said: Israel is implementing a policy of exterminating the Palestinian people; cruelty then, and violence then. One of the protesters was quoted by journalists as saying: Nothing can justify the massive human rights violations committed by Israel in Gaza and the West Bank of the Jordan River. Demonstrations condemning Israeli crimes in Gaza outside the White House Before that, President Miguel Diaz-Canel of Cuba said that the killings carried out by the Zionist regime of Israel against the defenseless people of Gaza is a real and true Holocaust. He said the Cuban people will not ignore this crime and that is why they have participated in large numbers in the International Day of Support for the Palestinian People this Saturday. Since the start of brutal attacks by the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, more than 30,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have been martyred, while about 70,000 others have been injured.
