Daesh militants attacked army units in northern Syria

Terrorist elements Daesh (ISIS) attacked the positions of the government army in northern Syria. According to the official Syrian news agency (SANA), 10 Syrian soldiers were killed in a surprise attack by the ISIS terrorist group in the province of Raqqa. The al-Mersad al-Suri website described the ISIS attack on Syrian army positions as serious and wrote: “The attack took place in the Maadan Atik area in the east of Raqqa province.”
There is a possibility of an increase in the number of victims, since 6 more people were injured, some of them are in critical condition. The Russian news agency Sputnik, citing a security source, reported one dead and added that three more soldiers were injured. A few days ago, ISIS militants carried out two sorties in the Al-Sayed Zaynab area in Damascus, as a result of which 6 people were killed and dozens were injured.
