Demonstrations against Netanyahu in Tel Aviv escalate into clashes with police
On Saturday evening, Zionist news outlets covering news of protests against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu showed photographs of police clashing with the opposition.
According to ArabNews; Israeli police clash with anti-Netanyahu protesters while families of Israeli prisoners gathered in front of Netanyahu's residence on Saturday evening and asked him to release said prisoners from the Ezzeddine al-Qassam battalions of Hamas's military wing. The families of Zionist prisoners, as well as Gal Hirsch, the man leading the case for their release, were suspended after attending a meeting in Tel Aviv, chanting the slogan “shame on you” against him. Many disagreements and problems arose among Zionist POW officials regarding relations with political authorities and prisoner exchange negotiations with the Palestinian resistance, and some of these officials resigned from their positions. Some news sources estimate that the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas captured nearly 300 Zionists in Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.
