An adviser to the head of the Palestinian Authority said: "The use of the banned substance "white phosphorus" by the Zionist army in the attack on the Gaza Strip has been documented, and these documents have been submitted to the International Criminal Court."
According to AP on Monday, Mahmoud Al-Habash added in a conversation with the Russian news agency Sputnik: "The Israeli regime in Gaza has committed and continues to commit organized and public war crimes, and for this reason, the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court has demanded that an arrest warrant be issued for the Israeli prime minister and that the minister of war be brought to trial."
He added: "The Israeli regime in Gaza has committed violations of international law, war crimes and genocide, and its army has used internationally banned weapons and substances, including white phosphorus, against the people of Gaza."
An adviser to Mahmoud Abbas added: "Documents supporting this case have been submitted to the International Criminal Court."
With US support, Israel has been waging a devastating war against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, which has resulted in, in addition to widespread destruction and deadly famine, thousands of Palestinians, most of them women and children, being killed or injured.
Tel Aviv, ignoring the international community and ignoring UN Security Council resolutions on an immediate end to the war, as well as the orders of the International Court to prevent genocide and improve the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza, continues to commit crimes of genocide against the residents of Gaza.
According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, at least 43,000 Palestinians have been martyred and at least 100,412 injured in attacks by the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip since October 7.
Among the martyrs were 17,210 children and 12,000 women.
More than 10,000 Palestinians are still buried under the rubble and should be added to the number of martyrs when the war is over.
