Doha: We support a permanent and comprehensive solution to the Syrian crisis

Qatar's foreign minister said Doha wants a fair solution to the Syrian issue and supports a political solution. According to Sputnik news agency, Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani said on Thursday evening that this country has no problems with Syria and wants a political solution to the crisis in this country.
 
The Qatari Foreign Minister stressed: "We demand a fair solution to the issue of Syria and support a political solution acceptable to the people of this country."
 
Last month, Majid bin Mohammad Al Ansari, spokesman for the Qatar Foreign Ministry, while welcoming and stating the country's support for the Arab countries' efforts to find a solution to the Syrian crisis, stressed that this solution should be based on positive developments and a real response to the demands of the Syrian people. 
 
Syria regained its seat in the Arab League in May with the consent of the member states' foreign ministers at an extraordinary meeting convened to consider the issue.
