Elon Musk: The war in Ukraine will end soon
Elon Musk said that the war in Ukraine will end soon and that time is running out for those who profit from it.
According to the AP News Agency, Elon Musk, a key ally of US President-elect Donald Trump during his election campaign and also the owner of X, wrote: "The brutal killings in Ukraine will end soon."
This post by Mask on Platform X was published after the Wall Street Journal reported on Trump's possible plans for Ukraine.
US President-elect Donald Trump and US billionaire Elon Musk spoke by phone with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, signaling that Trump and his allies are trying to broker a ceasefire between Kiev and Moscow.
That call and Musk's presence show one aspect of Trump's thinking about the Russia-Ukraine war and how he will negotiate between Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin in the first weeks of the Trump administration.
In the call, Musk reportedly told Zelensky that he would allow Ukraine to use his Starlink satellites for Internet access. These have been crucial to Ukraine's battle against Russia, and Musk's promise that Ukraine will continue to have access to it shows that the Trump administration is not looking to cut off all military, financial and technical aid to Ukraine.
In his electoral slogans, Donald Trump has repeatedly said that he can end the war in Ukraine, and now, upon his entry into the White House, everyone is waiting for the answer to this ambiguous question.
