Erdogan: One of the biggest massacres of the last century is happening in Gaza

Turkish President Erdoğan said that one of the biggest massacres of the last century took place in Gaza.

According to TRT, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a joint press conference with the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Samia Suluhu Hassan, at the Presidential Complex, after a one-on-one and inter-delegation meeting.

Erdoğan said the following in part of his speech at this press conference:

“In our meetings with Mr. President, we also discussed the steps that can be taken against the brutality in the occupied Palestinian territories. Since October 7, 34 thousand Palestinians, mostly children, women, elderly and civilians, have been martyred by Israeli forces and 75 thousand of our brothers have been injured. One of the biggest massacres of the last century has been taking place in Gaza for 195 days. "We must do more to stop the massacres in Gaza."

Turkish President Erdoğan underlined that an urgent and permanent ceasefire must be achieved as soon as possible and then steps should be taken immediately to implement the two-state solution and said, "This week, we saw that Western countries were able to react with a single voice against Iran's retaliation. The same actors are now using "They must say 'stop' to Israel with one voice.
