An almost harmless number considering the approximately two million homeless people in the Gaza Strip.
Since the beginnings of Zionism, well-known names such as the visionary of the Jewish state Theodor Herzl, Israel's first Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion or the legendary one-eyed Minister of Defense Moshe Dayan harbored fantasies and even plans for the resettlement of the native population. They were based on living space and security considerations, which were underpinned by racist and religious arguments.
