The foreign ministers of the US and Pakistan held telephonic talks with each other. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Pakistan's Foreign Minister Belawal Bhutto Zardari had a telephonic conversation on bilateral relations and Afghanistan, reported Asian News news agency. Pakistan's Foreign Office has issued a statement announcing that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken had a telephonic conversation with his Pakistani counterpart Belawal Bhutto Zardari and in this conversation both sides expressed happiness over the positive development of relations between the US and Pakistan. 

According to Pakistani Foreign Ministry, Belawal Bhutto has emphasized in this conversation that Islamabad considers it important to expand relations with America and it is keen to strengthen these relations. Similarly, in this conversation, he emphasized on the subject that during the last one year, the high-level meetings between the officials of the two countries have become the reason for better and stronger bilateral relations. Similarly, Pakistan's Foreign Minister Belawal Bhutto emphasized on increasing cooperation in economic and trade relations, climate change and energy and expressed gratitude for the American support and said that the agreement between Pakistan and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will work in Pakistan.

Will lead to economic growth and Pakistan is keen to attract foreign investors by improving its economic infrastructure. According to the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, the foreign ministers of both the countries emphasized on establishing peace and security in the region and expansion in the region.
