Anadolu news agency has written the news and explained that, the court circles yesterday Tuesday confirmed that Seba, who has been tried several times in France for allegedly inciting racism, has been arrested.
The activist with dual citizenship of France and Benin, and who is also the President of the non-governmental organization Urgences Panafricanistes, was arrested on Monday in Paris together with Hery Djehuty, the organization's coordinator.
In recent years, Seba, 42, has organized or participated in several protests against the African Financial Community (CFA franc), where he has been arrested and deported to France frequently.
The activist, who is a native of France with parents from Benin, is well known for his stance against the West and his closeness to Moscow.
The reason for his arrest has not yet been made clear. In July this year, the French authorities revoked his citizenship.
Seba is a very influential activist in African circles, where he has been campaigning for the liberation and complete freedom of Africa from the chains of colonialism.
