France bans pro-Palestinian protests

The French Interior Minister has banned a pro-Palestinian demonstration that was planned to take place in the city of Lyon in the country. According to the website of "Le Figaro", Gerald Darmanin claimed today that the demonstration was planned for the wrong area of Guillotiere and that the flags that would be raised at the gathering are not appropriate. The Minister of the Interior of France has said that today Monday he planned to meet with several French Jewish figures including the country's chief rabbi to investigate the surprise attack by Hamas. He added that, that is why the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, has asked him to postpone his trip to Germany.

This action by France to prevent the protests of citizens who support the liberation struggle of the Palestinians against the brutal Israeli regime has been criticized by scholars, politicians and human rights defenders, especially considering that Western countries, including France, have been bidding to be defenders of freedom of opinion and human rights. Now the French are being prevented from expressing their views and their right to hold a peaceful protest in support of people who are being persecuted and killed by Israeli warplanes.

The Palestinian fighters since yesterday morning started an all-round operation of its kind named Al Aqsa Storm. The operation has been carried out from the south of the Gaza Strip to the areas of the Zionist regime in the occupied lands. The operation is recognized as one of its kind in the period of 75 years of occupation of the Palestinian lands and has left the Zionists confused and shocked. Operation Al Aqsa Hurricane has so far killed a thousand Zionists. In response to the operation, the Zionist regime has carried out airstrikes in civilian areas in Gaza where so far it has killed 436 Palestinian civilians including 78 children, 41 women and injured 2,300.
