Swedish police attack pro-Palestinian protesters at Eurovision final

Swedish police have attacked pro-Palestinian protesters protesting the Israeli regime's participation in the Eurovision Song Contest in southern Sweden.

An estimated 5,000 people marched across the city to the Malmo Arena on Saturday, some waving Palestinian flags and chanting "free Palestine."

Riots broke out after protesters outside the stadium that hosted this year's finals between Switzerland and members of the illegal Israeli regime.

Protesters objected to being recognized as a competitor representing the brutal Israeli regime.

The police attacked people who were protesting peacefully against the Israeli regime and supporting the liberation of Palestine.

The police used pepper spray to disperse the protesters, among whom was the famous climate activist Greta Thunberg.

This year's competition has taken place as the brutal Israeli regime continues its genocidal war against the Gaza Strip. In the run-up to Eurovision, more than 1,000 Swedish artists called for representatives of the Zionist regime of Israel to be banned but their request was ignored.
