Following Iran's response to the Israeli regime's attack on Tehran's consulate in Syria, the leaders of the G7 Group held a meeting and at the end of their meeting, they issued a statement and reiterated the allegations against Iran.

According to CNN , the leaders of the G7 Group on Sunday after their video conference meeting issued a statement regarding Iran's attack on the Zionist regime and said they are trying to reduce tensions in the region. In response to the Zionist regime's attack on Iran's consular sector in Damascus, the Islamic Republic of Iran targeted targets inside the occupied territories. The heads of the United States, Canada, England, France, Germany, Japan, Italy and also the European Union issued a statement and strongly condemned Iran's "direct and unprecedented" reaction against the Zionist regime and claimed that Israel defeated this attack with the help of of his partners. Without mentioning the fact that the source of tension in this matter is Tel Aviv, they once again emphasized their solidarity and support, as well as their commitment to the security of the Zionist regime. These countries claimed that Iran with its actions is destabilizing the region and this causes the risk of escalation of uncontrollable tension in the region and added that this should not be stopped. The leaders of the G7 Group have said in their statement that they continue efforts to stabilize the situation and reduce tensions. In this statement, Iran and regional resistance groups are asked to stop their attacks.
